I will pray that theLord continues to give you peace. Thank you for sharing such a precious life, and causing me to ponder the gift I have in my children. My youngest daughter is only a year older than Rachel.

I'm so sorry this tragedy ever happened. It's so wrong. The only people who deserve to die that way are the drunks/drugged drivers, but unfortunately it's the innocent ones who so many times have to pay for mistakes made by other people who have to learn the hard way if they even ever learn. I'm still going ask God someday why ... Rest In Peace Rachel and may the Lord comfort all of our hearts that have been broken and hurt because of sin.

Im sorry for your loss. i couldnt even imagine if my brother had died when he was hit by a drunk driver. this such a major epidemic among our society. My little brother at the age of 15 was in a school area and a lawyer at 10am hit him and pinned him under another car and almost killed my mother as well. At least you guys have been able to get the word out before more of our youth die over others stupidity.

It sickens me to know that I could have been one of those drunk drivers years ago. By the grace of a merciful GOD I will celebrate my 18th AA Birthday this Sunday. God and the AA program has changed my families lives. Unfortunately our 17 yr. old grandson suffers from the disese of alcoholism. There is HOPE for others. Thanks for sharing your pain and joy with others.

This very day I called Jodi to see how you were all doing. I had not heard about Rachel, and I am truly sorry for your loss. I love your wonderful family and I am praying for all of you on this day...Rachel's birthday.

Today would have been Rachel's 21st birthday, unfortunately she doesn't get to celebrate it because a drunk driver took her precious life away. So today we shall celebrate what a wonderful and caring person Rachel was, and know that we are all better because we knew her. I always remember Rachel's smile, every time I saw her she was smiliing!! So today no matter what happens, I'm gonna smile!! Rachel will always be missed no matter how many years pass, and she is forever loved :)
