I'm sorry for your loss. My best friend also has lost someone really close to her due to a drunk driver and i know how hard it must have been. Rachel looked like a very talented young woman and you were very blessed to have her. I will keep your family in my prayers. Stay strong!

For the past two days my school has been participating in the "Every 15 Minutes" program. I have always been against drinking and driving, never have seen the point, nor do I ever plan to do it. I feel so different, just reading and hearing about trageties and the act of the irresponsible drivers, it's eye opening and very, very scary to think that this could happen to anyone. I am so very sorry for your loss, it hurts me physically as well as emotionally just to read this. I can't imagine how hard it must be for your family. My thoughts are with you, thank you for having the strength to share the story of Rachel. I know it will help other teens as well as parents, be more cautious with their choices.

Hi Mrs. Elliott. You just came to my school and was involved in our every 15 minutes program. I wanted to thank you for all the knowledge you gave me and I will never forget it. Listening to you speak today and yesterday was so touching and I admire you for being so strong. I know it's really hard talking about losing a loved one. I really appreciate it and I know all my peers involved did too. Rachel sounded like a really amazing person and I'm so sorry for your loss. Thank you so much for everything these past two days. I'll think about Rachel every time I get in my car now. You and your family and Rachel will be in my prayers. I can't thank you enough.

Thank you so much for coming to Madison High School, NJ, and for the program you did. My daughter was involved with the program and it really opened her eyes to the reality of how dangerous the roads can be and has a whole new respect for everything now, As a retired Fire Chief in the neihboring town of Harding, I've always stressed to her the reality of some of the accidents I've witnessed and to be carefull, but this now has truly opened her eyes even more. Thank you so much and God Bless. Ken

i am currently taking Driver's Ed at my school. Learning about her story and how her life was taken away from her, makes me realize that not all drivers are carefull. Her story will help me be more cautious while driving. She is in all teen's prayers.

I am really sorry for your loss. I am writing a research paper on how we can stop drunk driving and how it can really effect families. This is a beautifully well done page and was a huge help for me. So I just want to say Thank You for the help. My Rachel rest in peace.

As a parent I cannot imagine the loss of a child especially at the hands of an irresponsible person. I am a trauma nurse and do injury prevention in our community. I have recently begun working with teens. This includes a lot of education on distracted driving, drinking and driving and pre-prom events. This is one story I would like to share with our community teens. Your daughter is beautiful and her message should be shared. There is no descrimination when it comes to tragedy in families and I would like them to understand that even beautiful intelligent people and good families can be affected. Thank you for sharing your daughter and your story. I am so very sorry for your tremendous loss.
